Funny timing, to get that letter today. I'd just been talking with sister about you Friday, reminiscing about her memories of my old friends and providing a plain, minimally painful version of History. I'd been thinking about it, then kinda weird to get that brief note. Always did seem to work out that way. Such is life.
Anyway, thanks for the well wishes. I have less anger now, so that's a good thing. Time does heal. Maybe one day in a few years we'll run into each other in town and be able to find a friendship again, because I do miss that friendship. Maybe one day, but today isn't a day for opening communication lines. It doesn't sound like that would be welcome at any rate (thus my only reply will be here, public, so that no problems can be caused from acknowledgement). For now, I wish you well and hope your life is going in a positive, happy direction.
